It made front page news, "Thierry Henry pens deal @ Nou Camp", shivers ran down my spine. There's good and bad though.

Henry's entry into Barcelona will only compliment, or should I say further enhance what is at present the most potent attacking triumvirate in Spain, possibly Europe. Messi, Eto'o, Ronaldinho. With Henry in the ranks, one can only fear defences all over Europe will be decimated at will. Interesting.

However, all is not rosey. There is a stark similarity to what had happened at Real Madrid. Remember the Galacticos? When Luis Figo made the switch from Barcelona to Real Madrid, his transfer sparked a sudden influx of huge talents, big name players, Ronaldo, Beckham, Robinho, Julio Baptista, Michael Owen, Zinedine Zidane, just to name a few. However, Real Madrid never really took off, instead languishing in the dark alleys of the Primera Liga. There is a fearful resemblance at present day Barcelona.
