All or Nothing

Free-write experiment, stopping for naught,
it's meta-poeting in which I'm now caught.
Doing what, or not doing? Can I stop? I cannot.
Free-write experiment, stopping for naught.

Immune from no feedback, but fearing it some,
do no editing now, 'though my id might go numb.
"Always keep the pen moving" - 'tis thee rule of thumb.
Immune from no feedback, but fearing it some.

Either put pen to paper or live with no voice.
"Do it now or don't do it" is my only choice.
It's time to decide, so cut throat or rejoice.
Either put pen to paper or die with no voice.

Perhaps this life's lesson is borne out of need.
"Do all in one take" - that's the word I should heed?
Is compulsive redoing a non-doer's greed?
Perhaps this life's lesson is borne out of need.

    Sweet Dreams

    Whispers in the night...

For Those Who Wait In Silence

    Writing, for now, is my lover abroad;
Out of sight, but very much in mind.
    I hold it, caress it,
