Makeover tips for real life desperate housewives

Lots of women don't feel very confident when it comes to doing their own eyebrows. Many feel they will make a mess of them and not be able to achieve the desired shape. With a few tips and guidelines, I'm sure you will all be ready to give it a try.
Remove hairs by plucking them with tweezers. Salons will more than likely use wax to remove most of the hairs, and tweezers to catch any stray ones the wax may have missed. Waxing should be left for the more professional parties. Never use scissors or razors as this will give a stubbly look and could also graze the skin. Never use depilatory creams, (hair removal creams). The chemical content of these creams are very dangerous if applied to close to the eye.

Below is my step by step guide to achieve the perfect eyebrow;

1 Make sure the area is clean and free of make-up and grime. Smooth on some moisturizer or eye cream over and around your eyebrow. This will soften the skin and the hair follicles, therefore making the hairs easier to slide out. Also use a good pair of tweezers that will grip the hairs easily.

2 Stretch the skin gently and begin plucking out the hairs. Pluck them out one at a time, getting a firm grip of the hairs from the root. This will prevent the hairs from being broken and ensure the hairs are being removed from the root.

3 Pull the hairs out gently and don't tug them out as this could also cause them to break. Pluck them out in the same direction in which they are growing.

4 After removing a few hairs, give that area a rest and move onto the other brow. This will also ensure they will both look the same, by working alternately with them.

5 When you have finished, hold a mirror below your chin, look down onto it and check for any hairs you may have missed.

6 Apply a soothing lotion such as tea tree to cool down the area. This also helps to calm down any redness down.

Aftercare
Don't tamper with the area after wards as this could cause irritation and the redness will take longer to go down. After the desired shape has been achieved, you could apply a coat of clear mascara onto the eyebrows to give them a glossy shiny look. Now you can go out and have your eyebrows on show and feel great. No need to hide behind a fringe any more.

I hope lots of people find my article helpful and useful.
