I feel its going to be a tough season for Arsenal without Henry!
He joins the list of his fellow countrymen Viera and Pires ;together who rocked and redefined Arsenal style of soccer.
But now with all of them gone it might be an end of an era which saw some glorius footballers which includes Overmars,Kanu,Bergkamp,Petit along with the french trio.
Wenger believes in young blood and he is a master of the transfer window.He has got the amazing eye to recognize talent and groom them into stars.But this time, with even his future with Arsenal under the cloud, it looks like a real test for him.I agree there are some good young players like Persie,Fabregas,Walcott but not much experience.Arsenal paid the price for this last season with Henry injured most of the time and it looks certain that they might face the same music this season as well.The young gunners indeed showed a lot of promise by reaching the Carling cup final but often they exposed their lack of experience.All the young players used to look upto Henry for advice and Fabregas,Walcott,Adabayor have often expressed that how much they have learnt from him.No one can forget the way Adabayor ran towards Henry in the sidelines and then the duo celebrated his goal with a cool jig!

Another important aspect is the time when they finally decided to sell him off.Arsenal is not known for shelling a lot during transfer window.But in case they would have sold Henry a bit early during the transfer window, they could have used the money to get a good replacement eg Ribbery.But now almost all the good players have signed their new contracts and that makes Wenger's job more difficult.
As far as Barca is concerned, they now have a dream attacking force with Messi and Ronaldinho on the flanks feeding Eto and Henry! But there is also a fear of too many stars killing the chemistry of the team which happened with Real.But if i was a Braca fan i would have been delighted with Henry joining Barca, though what they really need is a strong defender.
From Henry's prospective, it should turn out to be a good decision.He is approaching 30 and still without any European glory in his kitty.For a player of his standard, this is definitely something which must be killing him from inside.Now in Barca, with the dazzling company of Ronaldinho, Messi, Eto..his chances of winning the silverware is more than with the Gunners!
Back in London,Wenger's contract is also about to end and with Henry's departure even his future looks gloom.Questions will be asked about his desire if the young gunners fail to get going in the coming season.But as a true Arsenal fan, i would never want him to leave Arsenal.He is a bigger asset to the gunners than Henry.
I wish the young gunners carry on with the Arsenal legacy.
Let a new era begin with Persie,Fabregas,Hleb,Rosicky as now Wenger's future depends on their young shoulders!
Don't let Wenger go fellows..If Henry's loss is big, then Wenger's departure will be titanic!
