Comparing Netflix and Blockbuster

Netflix-Blockbuster Online-Netflix-Blockbuster Online. Both have new and improved features. Which are better?

If you are an avid movie watcher you are probably familiar with these two competing online DVD rental services. And like many other cinema fans out there, you also have been probably wondering ultimately which service is the better deal, has the better selection, and better overall customer service and ease of website use.

Blockbuster Online and Netflix online DVD rental services have been pretty much going head to head in the quality and value departments since they became two of the leading methods in which consumers today choose to rent, manage and appreciate their favorite films, documentaries and family classics. Despite perhaps a slightly better navigational system on the Netflix website and a slightly lower monthly fee from the Blockbuster Online DVD rental service, there didn't seem to be much of a difference when it came to the logistical details of each. Now though, the online DVD mail in rental service industry is heating up and the competition is becoming diverse enough to really force you to think about the better option. It's not a matter of price, since both online DVD rental services offer a variety of plans that resemble each other in price as well as the allotted movies allowed to have rented out at one time (both programs encourage the plans that allow for three). For a similar price, around $17.99 after a free month's trial period, you can rent three movies to keep for as long as you want, with no late fees and the comfort in knowing that the second the store receives your mailed in DVD enclosed envelope when you are finished with it, the next great movie on your list will be shipped out immediately. The same deal goes with Netflix. Only with Blockbuster Online, customers recently have had the added bonus of in store trade-ins of their rental DVDs.

Meaning, if you are one to be somewhat impatient,
