What singing career? Even before she reached puberty and had implants, Britney's prime talents were squawking to rock noise, showing off her implants and capped teeth, and shaking her ample butt.
As soon as she could break away from her parents' control, she showed how ignorant and shallow she was by making terrible mistakes. She married a serial philaderer and tried to keep that low-life, no-talent sponger at home by giving birth to two babies.
Then, when that failed, she got smart enough to throw the bum out, but decided she would keep her name before the public by ignoring her children and spending every night doing the club circuit in the glare of paparazzi cameras. Still exhibiting her total ignorance, she decided to flash herself for the cameras. All of this silly behavior brought her bad publicity, and just about ended her career.
Certainly, if bad behavior would always end show business careers, the public would soon be blessed by the absence of some lousy actors, bimbo actresses, discordant rock bands and so-called gangsta rap stars who make Britney's actions look like those of a nuns' choir.
Only time will tell if Britney's new album will revive her career. Public tastes are fickle, and maybe with intelligent advice, hard work and a turnaround in her behavior, she will once again get to the top of her profession. For the sake of the children, we can hope so.
