Neither, Portland should trade the pick. Haha, just kidding. It's obvious, Greg Oden HAS to be the first pick. As good as Kevin Durant was, he doesn't have the size that Greg Oden has, and in the NBA, players of Greg Oden's size come by very rarely nowadays. Of course, this would create a logjam in the Blazers frontcourt (already consisting Zach Randolph and would-have-been-Durant's-teammate-had-he-stayed LaMarcus Aldridge), but its just hard to pass on the opportunity to grab someone of Oden's talent. Of course, this position logjam would make Durant a better choice, but talent wise there's just absolutely no way you would give up the chance to take a franchise center. Plus, Ohio State went all the way to the national championship game (where they lost to Florida, but Oden was Oden in that game with 25 points and 12 rebounds, thereabouts), while Durant didn't get past the Sweet 16 (or Elite 8, forgot how far Texas went). Oden has done it on the big stage, while Durant didn't get as far. Of course, this isn't discounting Durant's ability, and I'm sure he would be a great pick for Seattle (unless they go bonehead). But for now, Greg Oden is the consensus #1 overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. If David Stern doesn't announce Greg Oden's name first come the draft, Trail Blazers management has to be thrown in jail.
