Poetry: Feelings

I would

Would you like to share a meal
Talk about the way we feel
Maybe we could spin the wheel
Seal the deal

Would you like to get some air
We could look up at the moon and stare
Sit around in our underwear
Tell each other how much we care

Would you like to talk for a little while
Just pick up your phone and dial
But, that really is not my style
Because I love to see your pretty smile

Would you like to take walk
Hold each others hand and talk
Play hopscotch on faded sidewalk chalk
Sit by the lake and skip a rock

Would you spend some time with me
Share a couple of cups of tea
Be where we want to be
Take our hearts and set them free
I would
