A Lawyerly Lunch
I have gathered several love letters
viz
"Thank You! Come again."
and
"Thanks! Diane."
and
"Thanks again!"
I plan to use them
as evidence when I read my plea
in case she suggests
I have no business with such feelings.

As little growing hands
Fling fish sticks, fries and other fare,
Mid faculty
Finally it is time
To walk away from the pressure
Just thirty minutes of relief
Short walk and eating the sandwich at hand
