jail cells to the courtroom. She needs to remember that, the next time she arbitrarily decides to delay the wheels of justice from spinning on-time. Third, her catty mother termed the prosecutor and the sentence "pathetic." Not so, Mrs. Hilton. We have laws for a reason. What is really pathetic about all this is that there are people like this who have come to understand the concept that wealth buys unearned privileges in these great United States. Finally, I have never heard of a sentence being reduced for good behavior before the sentence even begins. It seems to me like one should serve some time, then have his or her behavior while incarcerated considered for early release.
The county sheriff involved stated in a televised press conference that he was not at liberty, under existing law, to discuss the specific medical condition which necessitated Miss Hilton's "reassignment" to house arrest in the mansion. Based on what friends have said publicly, our princess was very "weepy" nearly the entire time she was in the clink (this, based on telephone conversations while she was in jail); basically, she was "totally miserable" behind bars. Uh that's why they call it "jail," sweet cheeks you're supposed to be miserable, ostensibly so you will learn a lesson about the times you have chosen to ignore laws designed for the protection of everyone else on the road. She was also refusing to eat any of the jailhouse chow she was served. Basically, it all boils down to a pampered, perfumed princess having a meltdown in jail and acting out over the fact she can't love on her little throw-pillow dog, or some other such drastic inconvenience. She behaved this way because she knew it would lead to a favorable result. Apparently, this was her mysterious "medical" condition.
While the District Attorney's Office and the sentencing judge have lambasted this "reassignment," Miss Hilton was apparently cognizant of the old adage, "money talks and bullshit walks." I would not be at all surprised to learn that a small portion of the Hilton Hotel fortune made its way into the Sheriff's bank account. We DO know that Paris' gazillionaire grandfather made a sizeable donation to the sheriff's reelection campaign, last year; a fact he chose not to disclose in his press conference. Could it be that Grandpa Hilton had a premonition that his spoiled, perfumed brat of a granddaughter would need the sheriff's services at some point? Nevertheless, Hilton money talked and she walked.
