THE MIRROR
To reflect in a looking glass,
confronted by shattered dreams,
thoughts trace each fracture,
pondering.
A fragmented web stares indifferently.
The mirror broken.
Mind applies reason where there is none.
A kaleidoscope of images observed.
An abstract of life's finer strokes.
The slivered past follows a cracked future.
The present,
a true reflection.
