Azortene - Fact or Fiction?
I have, in the past few weeks, come across several anecdotal articles concerning a supposed herbal cure for several forms of cancer which are prevalent in Western Society.
Apparently a herbal extract which is available in tablet form in SE Asia and is generally referred to as "Azortene" or "Arablex" and whilst the exact composition of the ingredients are to date a closely guarded secret (some of the major ingredients are Guava, Green Tea and Avocado Extracts) is subsequently having some success in treating several forms of cancer .
As my interest was piqued, I emailed the promoter of this treatment (at azortene@mailasia.co) and here are some quotes form his reply ; -
"We have had some success when treating patients with Skin Cancer (Melanoma), Breast Cancer and Stomach Cancer. Our treatment is of course more effective in the early stages of these cancers but some more advanced cases have responded well to treatment. This product is new on the market and all our evidence at this point is anecdotal. Clinical trials will begin in late 2007/2008".
"We are currently providing out treatment to clients all over the Asian sub-continent and also to some patients within the Pacific Rim countries. At this point in time we are providing all treatment at our production and postage costs".
After swapping emails for a few days the sender has seemed to be "up-front" when asked some difficult questions about his treatment and has stated several times "that all of the patients current treatment regimes should be continued and adhered to" and "our product should be used in adjunct with there current treatment..".
"Our product is manufactured with 100% natural ingredients and has to date had no debilitating or adverse side effects for our patients".
I suppose only time will tell if this treatment is effective in any way but from what I have gathered in my brief investigation and inquiries into this product is that perhaps it warrants further instigation before recognized authorities judge it.
Please note: I do not in anyway endorse this product and this information is only provided on an informative basis only.
