As a new grandma and a full time student at a university I became concerned about the mandatory vaccination program in California. The research I have done is frightening. Before mass inoculation programs were implemented in the 1960's the United States had the third lowest infant mortality rates in the world. Now, in the 21st century we are a pathetic 24th!

What got me started on this path was when I met a young man and his father at our local Wal Mart store. Being a former nurse, I recognized the bandage around the boys arm covered a shunt used for dialysis.
At age 17, the boy who is from Las Vegas won a full basketball scholarship to a four year college. Since he was from out of state school officials notified the student that he would not be allowed to attend school until he had taken the hepatitis B series of three injections. After completing the series the boy became very ill with what was eventually diagnosed as Systemic Lupus, an auto-immune disease that is very unusual in males. His kidneys were destroyed and he spent four years on kidney dialysis (a process where the blood is cleansed of waste materials usually done by the kidney)instead of shooting hoops. The diagnosis was traced directly to the hepatitis B vaccine.
The link was further secured when a co-worker of my husband's 10 year-old son also developed Lupus after school officials demanded he get the series before entering middle school. It must be pointed out that Lupus is diagnosed in males just 2% of the time.
During a Congressional hearing in 2003 involving vaccine reactions a father related how his 5-week-old daughter died eight hours after receiving her third hepatitis B injection. Originally thought to be another case of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, an alert coroner observed brain swelling consistent with vaccine reaction and not found with SIDS.
This vaccine has also been linked to an increase of insulin dependent diabetes in young children. When the vaccine was given to military personnel in New Zealand, so many developed type 1 diabetes that it was banned for future recruits.
Hepatitis B is a sexually transmitted disease that is common among adults who practice unsafe sex as well as heroin users. So why is this stuff injected into new-born infants? It is the herd vaccination mentality where supposedly by vaccinating infants who are at no risk of developing the disease they will become adults who are immune to the disease. Also adults who are affected seldom comply with the three shot regimen and infants have no say in the situation.
The same concept has been used to explain why infants should be inoculated against Chicken Pox with devastating results. Usually mild when contracted in a toddler under 2-years-old, older children and adults have a 40% chance of being hospitalized or dying from the disease. And the vaccines are wearing off, exposing more children and adults to what should be a pesky disease.
The latest vaccine to hit state legislatures is Gaurdasil, developed and approved last year and already mandated in several states for girls aged 9 and older before starting school. This is supposed to kill some of the strains of the human papaloma
virus, another sexually transmitted disease.
