Dragon
Bright eyes beaming,
As it looks down on its foe.
Scales gleaming,
As it arches its neck down low.
The Dragon staring,
As its attacker looks for help.
Nostrils flaring,
As the man lets out a yelp.
Fire spouting,
As flames emerge from the nose.
The man shouting,
As the dragon relinquishes its foes.
Body stiff like a stone,
As it lays all black and burnt.
The dragon all alone,
As it recalls the things it has learnt.

With maps
He comes to me, on wings of dreams
Dreaded beast of ancient lore
Scales gleaming, iridescent silver, gold
Monstrous silhouette
