Yes I believe government should pay for all heath care!
i also believe a doctor and his or her patient should maintain control of their health care choices and their general health care!
WHEN GOVERNMENTS , HMO'S , ETC ARE INVOLVED IT OFTEN SEEMS THAT DOCTORS, PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILY LOOSE THE RIGHT TO MAKE HEALTH CARE CHOICES ( i-e, choosing their doctors , hospitals, non elective surgery, etc prescription medicine choices!)

sadly it seems we are having many choices taken away from us, when government ( Medicare, state programs,etc) are involved regarding our health care.
I believe a healthy population ( healthy , physically, emotionally, spiritually, in every way!) makes for a happy productive, positive society!
SADLY DUE TO ECONOMIC HARDSHIPS, MANY CAN'T AFFORD TO SEE HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS AS OFTEN AS NEEDED. OFTEN NOT AT ALL!
IT IS A CHOICE OF FOOD, RENT, OR MEDICINE, EVEN HERE IN AMERICA!
I also feel the government ( OUR CURRENT HEALTH CARE SYSTEM ) SHOULD BE MORE STRONGLY ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO TAKE BETTER CARE OF THEM SELVES. Even recognizing and encouraging the use of alternative medicine ( i-e acupuncture, message, etc!) . WELL IF YOU LOOK AT THE CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS REGARDING HEALTH CARE, IT IS NOT A SURPRISE THAT NONE OF THIS IS HAPPENING!
OUR GOVERNMENT HAS MUCH ON IT'S PLATE, I FEEL AND AM AFRAID, HEALTH CARE IS STILL WARMING ON THE STOVE AND NOT REALLY ON THE PLATE YET!
With the rising costs of health care and prescription medicine something must and should be done! more people sadly may suffer and die if not!
My dad died 5 years ago after strokes and complications of Alzheimer's. he was blessed to live to a week or so after his 90th birthday!
SADLY HIS INSURER ( dad was a supervisor for a well known publishing company, he retired from the company at 65 after 32 years plus of great service to them! the company has been bought out by huge corporations, 3 times now! I wish i could mention there name, for legal reasons obviously i will not! ) we were in constant little battles with a large well known us health insurance company over getting various items ( i-e, wheel chair, hospital bed, home health care, a recirculating air mattress, prescriptions, etc ) PAID FOR BY THIS COMPANY! WE DID HAVE SOME REALLY GREAT, NICE PEOPLE AT THE COMPANY ( SHAWNNA AND OTHERS) AND AT THE INSURER ( GAYLE, SAUNDRA) THAT WERE HELPFUL TO OUR FAMILY AS WE CARED FOR DAD! 22 YEARS WE WENT THROUGH THE SAME SITUATION FOR OUR MOTHER!
YES THERE ARE SO MANY MEDICAL ADVANCES! i wonder how are people going to afford them! i have health issues my self. i have been a low vision person my self, ironically my insurance does not pay for any of the low vision ( i-e low vision computer soft ware, CCTV magnifier and hand held magnifiers, etc!) i must use. I'VE HAD MY BATTLES OVER MY GLAUCOMA MEDICATIONS AND OTHER PRESCRIPTIONS BEING COVERED, CHANGED MEDICATIONS ONCE ( I'LL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!)
SOMETHING MUST BE DONE AS THEY SAY IN THE HOSPITAL ( I AM IN LOVE WITH A LADY WHO IS A NURSE ALSO MANY OF MY RELATIVES ARE MEDICAL PERSONNEL!_ STAT!A CODE BLUE NEEDS TO BE CALLED ON OUR AILING HEALTH CARE ( SICK OR SICKNESS CARE SYSTEM) NOW!
I AM AFRAID THE NUMBER OF UN INSURED OR UNDER INSURED PEOPLE IS ONLY GOING TO INCREASE!MOST OF THESE PEOPLE ARE WOMEN AND CHILDREN, WORKING POOR,ETC.
I DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THIS WAY!
