Wait
I'm still waiting
Here all alone as the shadows pass by
Strange outlines of people I once knew and cared for
Why do they ignore these silent tears?
Are you the only one who sees me?
I'll wait here forever
If only for a quick glance of your face
Just to see the color of your eyes
I'll call for you
Hear it on the wind as you stand perfectly still
Breathing in the icy air
And staring down at the water under a bridge
I'll slice my skin
Feel it as your thoughts turn to me
When you're up at night and nightmares don't haunt you
Feel my pain in your body
I'll tell you when it hurts
And you tell me when the world is making you crazy
We'll hide away in a dark place
And lose our minds together
You and I can become one person
We'll be darkness and light as one being
A darkened sky as the sun fades
And leaves only the dreary night as our company
Until then, I'll wait
Here alone near this river of salty tears
And call out your name
Hoping you will hear me

Morning by the Sea
Enveloped in a blanket of soft golden hues
She lies unaware of my silent adoration.
Her beauty simply astounds
LONGING
She walks in shadows,
Memories
her companions
Of a time
she once knew
In a place where
she once
was smiling
With you.
Where
-the track spinning-
in my ear
i hear lauryn hill
singing to "tell him"
The peak of happiness.
Rushing memories of your smile.
No
Why should I fear?
The rage of men
with fist of steel
among caboodle of warriors
when your burning love for I
unique and untainted
is
Smooth as silk
Soft, yet firm
Do I dare to touch again
Her collarbone?
Warm and welcome
Electric elevation
Trust I taste sweet
