Prenupt! Ah...music to my ears! Not only do I feel that they are necessary, but I believe it should be required. It protects the only thing this country is about...money! When signing prenuptial agreements, obviously the one with money benefits. But it doesn't only protect their money, it protects their feelings, and dignity, and the whole nine yards. If that person is marrying that person for their money, they will know right then and there. Having it required would also make it less awkward for rich spouses to ask their mate. Even if they don't have money yet, its still a perfect idea to sign a prenupt. There is a good chance that one person makes a lot of money, and then who gets what if and when the divorce happens? Its just like putting money in a bank with FDIC protection. If someone robs the bank, you get your money back...its like the person who wants the money in the marriage won't be able to "steal" the money from the "bank." The spouse has the protection of the prenuptial agreement, so everyone gets what they deserve.
