Great places to visit in Michigan

Battle Creek Michigan is filled with so many things to do for the family. Whether your there for the day or for the week you can find something fun to do this summer in Battle Creek Michigan!

Binder Park Zoo (www.binderparkzoo.org) is located at 7400 Division Drive in the heart of Battle Creek. They are open Monday thru Friday from 9am-5pm, Saturday & Holidays from 9am-6pm and Sunday from 11 am-6pm. General admission is $11.95 for adults, $10.95 for seniors, $9.95 for kids age 2-10 yrs old and kids under 2years are free. Parking is free and Binder Park zoo offers wheelchair and stroller rentals for a small fee. Binder Park zoo is involved in all kinds of conservation programs to help preserve many species such as Mexican wolves, red pandas, ring tailed lemurs, white handed gibbons and many others. Binder Park zoo also offers two different shows and chats with the Zoo keepers where you can ask questions and learn a bit about the animals at the zoo. Not only does Binder Park zoo have animals it also offers many restaurants and gift shops for a full day of fun for the whole family.

Kingman Museum(http://www.kingmanmuseu m.org/index.htm) is located at 175 Limit Street in Battle Creek Michigan. Kingman Museum offers many exhibits from dinosaurs to wildlife. They also have a great planetarium with showings through out the day. Though out the year the Kingman Museum also offers different events such as Wild Kingdom Summer program, Latin American Celebration and many others. The Kingman Museum is open Tuesday thru Friday from 9am-5pm, Saturday from 1pm-5pm and closed on Sunday and Monday. Entrances frees are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors 65+, children ages 2 and up are $3, children 2 and under are free. Kingman Museum also offers a family package that includes 2 adults and kids under 18 yrs of age for $15, which is a great deal if you have more than 1 child.

Then if your ready for some fun in the sun and water then visit Fun Blast water park (www.funblast.org) located on Hamblin Ave in Battle Creek Michigan. This wonderful water park offers indoor and outdoor water parks and water slides. Not only does Fun Blast offer water activities they also have starfish glow golf where you can play nine holes of indoor mini black light golf. They also have a Sports Forum which offers a giant roller skating rink, three basketball courts and an indoor running track. For the little ones 8 years and under they offer the imagination station which has soft ground indoor play areas with slides, climbing nets and endless tunnels. There are also many other things to check out and do at the Fun Blast water park! Fun blast is open year round and offers many different ticket prices depending on what you and your family want to do.

Battle Creek Michigan also offers many places to dine but with all the options don't miss out on visiting Clara's On The River(www.claras.com/walkthru/ walkthr2.htlm). Clara's On The River offers a great walk thru tour which shows you many different collections of items that are fun for the kids and adults alike to check out. Clara's On The River also has a wonderful menu where everyone is sure to find something yummy to eat. Clara's offers meals from pizza to mexican to steaks and anything in between. This is one place you can't miss while visiting Battle Creek Michigan!

At the end of the day Battle Creek also offers many hotels for a great night rest so you can be ready to check out other things in Battle Creek. So whether your just staying for the day or staying for a week you can always find something to do in wonderful Battle Creek Michigan.
