In the twinkling of starlight this life has passed me by
At times in brief sought the questions why.
As light begat darkness the answers were more clear.
Just lesson worthy learned all ended in tears.
As each day rolled by with me not aware.
To my eyes twas all just gloom and despair.
Further learning as time when on.
My life lessons made a beautiful song.
A song sung from seeds that grew over years.
Watered and sprouted by all those tears.
Though gloom and despair heart wrenching ache
Countless the blessing for all us to take.
All things happen for reasons divine.
To hasten your lesson should you find the time.
To ponder to learn with each passing day.
To understand your path you'll know your way.
