After a small moving season, the finale of Smallville lived up to it's full potential. Throughout the season viewers debated over the idea of Lex and Lana and whether or not it worked. All the while, as in every season to date, Clark fights feelings for the "pregnant" Lana Lang. Atleast in the finale, Lana wised up and left the ever more psychotic Lex. Upon calling Lionel, Lana was blown up in her vehicle. Is she dead? (is anyone ever really dead in TV these days?)
Following that, Lois went investigating herself. Unfortuneatly she battled the wrong guys and ended up "dying." Lucky for her, she was in the right place and as Chloe cried on her, they switched places and at the end it appears Chloe is now dead.
Meanwhile, Clark found himself battling a doppleganger version of himself. This Clark is more sinister and evil than Clark on the red kyrptonite. Lex flees the scene and is arrested for the murder of Lana Lang......
