Have 'Animal Rights' gone too far? Absolutely! When animal rights begin infringing on human rights, that's too far. Now, don't get me wrong, I love animals. I've had a wide variety of pets, ran a state-recognized rescue, and have two puppies that are wonderful. But when people start being more concerned about the welfare of animals over and above the welfare of people, there is something wrong.

Many 'animal welfare' groups are nothing more than fronts for corporations with bigger agendas and ulterior motives. If they weren't making huge profits, their concern for animals would quickly be dropped for another cause. Again, I have nothing against people who genuinely care for and want to help abused animals. It's the fanatics (like all fanatics) that scare me. There are people out there that would harm a human to save an animal. That's certainly gone too far.
