Ironically the poll is going to show the same ratio of "workers" disagreeing and "bosses" agreeing with this as there are workers to bosses; or people who have been a boss in the past. It is already 3 to 1 in favor of this fact. Because people who are or were bosses are such because of the so called butt kissing they did. Take it from a four time butt kisser, who is also a four time boss because of his butt kissing; it's just a fact. It is a must, if anyone wants success. Those who say it is wrong are more than likely the same people who have been sitting at dead end positions all their life. Or worse, they managed to get into a management position, and they are holding up progress and missing out on good employees by their ill guided belief that it is wrong. Butt kissers are what make or break companies. Because a butt kisser is nothing more then a hard worker!

Isn't that something; my "kissing" was eventually rewarded with the spot of Vice President in a company. Here is how it works folks. What it really boils down to is, who is busting their butt, and who is milking the clock. Who is trying to prove they should be moved into a higher degree of responsibility, and financial reward, and who is proving they are worthy of being left where they are? In other words, which people can the owner or boss trust to watch after and go after the companies well being? Who is seeking to see the company prosper, and who is seeking to get off work and go complain about their job in the local pub?

Two things are true and important in a business managers or bosses ethic. Obviously knowing the business at hand; but perhaps even more important is "knowing" people, all people; how they think, how they work or not work, and how they perceive themselves in the companies future. I have seen it with my own eyes, and I know why people think its butt kissing. I know why people don't get the promotions they always "think" they deserve more then someone else. They are the ones constantly talking about "how one day, they are going to find this job or that job, they are going to prosper with their own business and finally get out of the place they call a rat hole." Is it any wonder the boss is not buttering them with favors and gifts? On the other hand; during all of their hours of self gratitude, there is always someone else thinking and showing the boss, they are willing to find that same prosperity right where they are. These are the ones a good boss will focus on, nurture,
