Go for it. This world is for the brave. Communicating with the rest of mankind is a wonderful thing. It is stimulating, exhilarating and fun. Maybe you won't get rich - maybe you will, if you're lucky and you're good at what you do. But it's fun watching the amount you earn clock up. I can't wait to find out my latest Helium account total every day. If you can find enough channels to earn a decent living, then fine, do it. If you want to but you hold back, you'll only have regrets in later life.
It may sounds strange and a little contradictory putting forward such a possibly foolhardy piece of advice and then adding a word of caution. But I would recommend trying it out alongside your 'normal' job for a period. Check you can make ends meet - unless you've got a rich father willing to support you! If you're only ringing in a couple of dollars a month, then you ain't going to last long. But if you see the amount you earn escalating, then good luck. And tell me the secret!
