in the drug's immediate impact on my brain and body. For with the old pill, I got immediate relief from fatigue or depression, the Adderall XR alternative formula took some time to enter my bloodstream to its fullest capacity. In fact, since my doctor switched me over to the XR without changing the dosage amount, it was actually as if I was taking only half of my regular dose with the Adderall XR, ADD, ADHD pill formula. I didn't feel an immediate rush of emotion, motivation or energy; I had to wait awhile for that to overcome me. And when it does, the feeling is much milder than it is with Adderall. On the plus side, though, this pill lasts 24 hours so I no longer need to scurry to fit all of my days chores and tasks into a short time period because my pill will run out because I know that if I continue to take it as prescribed, it will not. It does sometimes become a problem if I take the Adderall XR alternative too late in the day, as I sometimes do not feel like sleeping at any reasonable hour and will end up staying up very very late. This has proven to work for me though, as I have committed to a work from home freelancing lifestyle that allows me to create my own work hours. And even though, I'd love to blame it on the medication, quite frankly my peak time is late night early morning. I love to watch the sun rise as I'm hard at work and it is in these quiet hours that I believe I concentrate best, with fewer symptoms of Attention Deficit, ADHD and other mental illness.

Both the traditional, immediate release Adderall medication and the Adderall XR, ADD, ADHD capsule are being prescribed for patients suffering from the Attention and Hyperactive illnesses. Though there are exceptions, the original formula is now first prescribed more often at low doses to people who may only need the effects to last them during a work day, school, or for writing such things as term papers or other college assignments that require a moderate degree of focus and concentration. It is to my awareness that the Adderall XR, ADD, ADHD extended release medicine is then prescribed for people like me whose disorders not only hinder me from getting certain tasks done, but whose symptoms are so powerful that they often even prevent me completely from getting out of bed and making it to much needed appointments or the workplace. I also see a benefit in its ability to ward off excessive sleepiness and depression, which are two symptoms of mental illness that have caused me stress to
