While Adderall comes and leaves the body in a rapid cycling of up and down type affect, with often, for some, the same sort of "crash" feeling that comes at the end of a late night coffee binge, the extended release version, Adderall XR alternative, is made to work on a 24hour basis. Adderall XR, ADD, ADHD medication reaches its highest level of absorption in the plasma after about seven hours.

As an avid customer of the Shire Pharmaceuticals, Adderall and Adderall XR alternative brands for the past seven years or so, I can tell you first hand that there are pros and cons related to both types of Adderall medications.
