A great vacation almost free
Travel To South Asia
That's one of the cheapest and best ways to spend your vacation in a fruitful way.
I won't say you can travel for free unless you decide work along the way, but I can assure you that the cost of living and traveling is so cheap that it is negligible when converted to local currency and the living costs in most other parts of the world.
Here is a simple example. You can live comfortably for less than $ 5 a day in almost any cities in India, Nepal and Bangaladesh. Half a dollar for a square meal, cabs as cheap as $ 0.1 dollars per Kilometres. And accomodation is extremely cheap. You can get a posh hotel with lates facilities for $ 10. However, if you chose to board on budget hotels you can get them for as cheap as $ 3. They are primarily targeted for locals, but open to any international tourists for the same rate.
If you are planning to stay longer in some particular cities, you can opt for cheaper. There are paying guest facilities available from $ 30 dollars a month. You can get a very well furnished posh apartment for $ 100 a month. Suppose you are traveling in a group of three or four, you can avail the facilities for $ 25.
And there are so many things that you have to see and will enjoy in these destinations. Nepalese mountains are known worldwide and attract scores of visitors every year. Similarly there are mountainous regions in India where you can enjoy a great vacation.
This region is endowed with great diversity. You can choose to hang around the beaches of Goa or decide to trek at high altitudes of the Himalayas. The landscape is simply beautiful. With plains and mountains and the hills.
There are lush jungles and gilded fields. Entire hills decorated with blooming Rhododendrons or other flowers depending on the seasons.
There are great water bodies where you can swim, raft or boat. The serenity of nature attracts everyone and anyone.
And most of all the people are very hospitable. The folks here welcome everyone who visit their land with a warm smile and lend their helping hand wherever possible.
So, it is a good idea to visit this region once. If you visit once you are certain to visit many times after that.
