Midnight seeps into my veins,
Fills me with tears and poetic rains...
And soft as snow, your words to me,
In turn I yearn to share your grief...
Midnight crawls into my mind,
Passionate, safe, warm and kind....
And in her sleep I'll hold her tight,
Whisper to her, "with the dawn comes the light"
Midnight plays within my soul
For friendships sake, two lovers made whole...
And when we kiss, though in my mind
I could feel content as the world unwinds...
I love you midnight, my chance to be free
You're a light to my darkness, I truly believe...
