If we keep putting restriction on our kids. We are combating the issue. Rule of thumb what ever we don't want our kids to do they surely are going to do it. I grew up in a time were teenagers still had control over alot of things. Now we have put so many restrictions that is backfiring right before our very eyes.
Did it ever occur to anyone that, freedoms are good. Of course there had to be some sort of controlling it without alienating our children. I know because I had three, the more restrictions on them the more they rebel and do what they want. We have tattooed kids with ear piercing and body piercing, it is all because the only thing they have control over is their own body. So therefore the mutilate so they are able to retain some level of control.
We overindulge our kids with cars, cell phones, materialistic things. It is not a good idea to do this we give them everything except control, we try to control them by giving in to their every whim. What they need is understanding. We have to form some level of control, so that they don't carried away but to judge them and their every move is not a good idea. They are going to do what we don't want them to just to defy control. So we have to reevaluate what really is going here. Everything is about control. Why can't we just love them and encouage them to make right choices instead of putting your foot down, and taking away thier freedoms.
