Poetry: Green

Lettuce crisp and cold
Filling a salad bowl,
Ivy climbing the side

A Christmas tree
Decorated with twinkling lights,
Peas rolling over
A toddler's dinner plate,
The camouflage jacket
Of a military man,
The eye on a feather
Left from a beautiful peacock
