I have always been a big fan of Bikers. I admire them. They have a sense of courage and attitude that an average person would only dream of having. Their bikes, show the same qualities, matching it's owner's style and personality. I have been on plenty of bikes, and let me tell you, their is no other feeling than that of going 80 miles down a road and feeling nothing but the air flow right through you. It's freeing.

During the summer months, almost every biker in America assembles together in various cities, including Sturgis, Laconia, and Daytona for the Rally Weeks (aka Bike Week). This is a tradition that gone on for over a hundred years. And every year, it gets better.
Bikers from all over gather round for a week and compair bikes, share stories, make acquaintances, and basically chill. Until recently, I have never experienced Bike Week. I had the pleasure of going to Laconia for my birthday to experience this "festival". I was surprised to find that I really enjoyed it. Just looking straight down the boulevard of Weirs Beach, and seeing nothing but motorcycles, is breath taking.
I was a wimp and drove my car up with my girlfriends. I haven't been on a bike in while. My father used to take me out all time. When we would go on our rides, he used to tell me that he would take me to Laconia for this rally when I was old enough. I kept riding until three years ago, when I was involved in a horrible accident. Since then, I have been weary of being on bike. That will change after having gone and see everything I saw.
As I have said, I am a big fan of Bikers. And there is nothing more thrilling than to be standing next to the bike you rode on, at this event and share good times and good laughs.
Sure their are fights between rival gangs, but what city doesn't have that?
All in all, if you want to experience a timeless American tradition; whether you live in or around Laconia, Sturgis, or Daytona, you should definitely go and check it out.
