DREAM OF FLYING
To dream of flying over all,
To enter the next phase,
To rise and fall, a free-for-all,
To step out of the race.
The trumpet calls; the angel sings.
I ride astride a horse with wings.
Go face-to-face with King of Kings,
Who takes His place o'er everything.
To dream of flying over all,
To enter the next phase,
To rise and fall, a free-for-all,
To step out of the race.
Then trials fall away like dust;
My great achievements prove a bust.
I look upon them with disgust
And value just the One I trust.
To dream of flying over all,
To enter the next phase,
To rise and fall, a free-for-all,
To step out of the race.
