Best ways to brighten a dull complexion

Don't you hate to see your face looking dull and lifeless? Aren't you annoyed when your skin looks like it doesn't have enough sleep? Are you desperately searching for remedies or throwing stuff on your face trying to fight the "alien"?

To brighten skin up, most people think of ex-foliating to get rid of the dead skin cells, or giving it a 10-minute brightening face mask treat. But have you ever thought that the lack of energy in your skin could be a result of slow blood circulation? Exercising is definitely the best way in speeding up the blood circulation and metabolism but what if we already have too many hassles in life to deal with and are almost half dead when we arrive home?

We have to figure out a method which is quick, simple yet effective to kick away the dullness given that we, city dwellers, have the most limited time on earth. I would vote for massaging the face which is one of the beauty secrets from the Japanese and the Koreans and they insist on inserting this particular item into their skin care routine every night. There are many brands which sell massage creams nowadays, and I am sure you can pick one that suits your skin type and needs without much difficulty.

After removing makeup and cleansing your face with a cleanser, apply a decent amount of massage cream on your face, gently move your fingers in circular movements from inwards to outwards for 2 minutes, then wash off the cream with water. The amazing part is that it doesn't take forever for you to notice the difference, the lovely glow will appear right on your face right away! It does sound too good to be true that it only takes 2 minutes daily in your hectic schedule to have that fabulous radiance on your face, but I have experienced it too! And now you should be able to explain to yourself why your skin looks so gorgeous after getting a professional facial done at a salon.

Despite its advantage, people with acne prone skins are not recommended to use this massage technique as it would tend to stimulate the break-out; and sensitive skins should stay away from massaging as well since the finger movements might cause unwanted irritation.
