Definitely poor Wile E. Coyote. When I first started watching these cartoons as a little kid. I was always rooting for the road runner. But after awhile I realized that the road runner was a personality less, streak on the screen. While poor Mr. Coyote used every creative trick in the book to try to catch some dinner. Not to mention all the interest charges on his Acme credit card. How many times can one get hit by an anvil, fall off a cliff, explode, or get ran over by a train before he gets sympathy. Just once I would of liked to see poor Wile E. actually catch that road runner. Although I've also wanted the silly rabbit to get some Trix. That's another story. As far as Elmer Fudd goes of course Bugs Bunny out smarts him every time. What else would you expect from such a wasclely wabbit. But Elmer never endured the abuse and frustration poor Mr Wile E. Coyote is dealing with today. Not to mention the possible risk of bankruptcy, or foreclosure from his HELOC because of all of his debt to Acme.

I love Wile E. Coyote. He is the eternal optimist. He is determined, single-minded, focused, and, unfortunately, totally
Most definitely the Warner Brothers cartoon character which has had the most abuse dished out to them is Wile E. Coyote.
