Causes and triggers of asthma

Even though I have had asthma all of my life,
I still have no knowledge as to why some people,or in my case, why some families
suffer with asthma.
What I do know is what would trigger my asthma attacks.
On my mother's side of the family,(her mother),there is a total of 15 members of our family who have asthma.
All 15 members of my family, have all had asthma since early childhood, and birth.

Childhood: not having been diagnosed with asthma until between the ages of 1 & 2 years of age.
Birth:being diagnosed with asthma before the age of 9 months.
Out of the 15 family members with asthma,11 of us have the same allergies that trigger an asthma attack.
We all have the same allergic reactions to certain fruits and vegetables.
Here is a list of things that my family members and I are allergic to,once these things cause an allergic reaction, the allergic reaction triggers an asthma attack.

1)CATS- Inside the home or outside the home.
ALLERGIC REACTION- Itching/burning eyes, and skin, sneezing. The sneezing is what triggers the cough and the cough triggers the asthma attack.Usually within 15 minutes of being around the yard or inside the home where the cat lives.
2)FEATHERS- In any kind of bedding and clothing, also if someone owns chickens.
If we sleep with a feathered pillow of any type of bedding for 2 hours, usually it's
the asthma attack that wakes us up.
3)FRESHLY MOWED GRASS- Walking through the yard to the house will cause the same allergic reactions as the cats and feathers.
Here is a list of things that trigger an asthma attack, but cause no allergic reaction.
1)RUNNING- Running less than 50 ft will cause the coughing and the coughing causes the actual asthma attack.
2)LAUGHING- Laughing for about 5 minutes triggers the asthma attack.
3)SMOKE- Even smoke from the bar-b-cue triggers an asthma attack
4)HEAT- Body being too warm triggers an asthma attack.

Here is a list of foods that cause an allergic reaction, but will not cause an asthma attack.
1) AVOCADO- Eating an avocado causes us to break out with blisters or tiny bumps inside our mouths and throats.
2)BANANAS- Bananas also cause the blisters and bumps.
3)ANY KIND OF MELON- Melons also cause the blisters and bumps.
I don't know if there is a connection with the food allergies to asthma, but I just thought it was a coincidence that all 15 members of my family including myself all have the same food allergies and all have the same triggers for our asthma attacks.
Also here are a few
