Responsibility is key in the progression of the current world and the growth of the current economy.
The latest G8 summit had an agenda that stresses the responsibility of all the nations involved and their participation equally to promote global economic growth and over-all responsibility. It's about time that the power-house nations take responsibility for their downfalls, as well as their strengths in the shaping of the current world status. The summit set this comprehensive yet simple vendetta for the coming years.
The current agenda places growth as something that should be stressed, also the importance of stability as the world economy stretches since it is pivotal to the stability of the nations involved in the growth and expansion. Every time the G8 gets together they have a worthy cause- and the improvement of world economy- even a greener economy- is one of their best decisions yet. The G8 has made their plans, but the enacting of such plans will begin slowly, and everyone has hope that what all these countries have decided will come to pass in the near future.
In order for some emerging nations to grow economically/financially, it has been proposed that the larger more powerful nations in deficit, like the U.S. climb out of that deficit to create a virtual slack to be taken up by the countries we will all be working to pull up into the mainstream of the world economy. Long passed has the time that these power-house nations should free up some of the world market, and this aspect of the plan may be the hardest for the G8 nations to accomplish- everyone has to make at least a small sacrifice and better decisions regarding their increasing budget deficits. When the deficits have gone the way of the T-Rex, all countries ideally will be on a leveler ground where it is less dire to grasp at the meager profits of the poorer nations, and said poorer nations will have the breathing room required to do their work.
Of all of the growing countries, the G8 felt it is most imperative that Africa's aid have an increase for the sake of speeding their stability. There is proposed a multi-prong approach including the stabilizing of African governments through cleaning of corruption and promotion of trade and national integration- a self-ownership for the citizens of African countries. Part of the this governmental improvement includes a more substantial, innovative and effective health care system to treat many of the illnesses that run rampant through much of the continent. This is believed to be the beginning to the jump-start of the African economy and the well-being of the continent as a whole.
Part of the stability promotion in all economies will be the protection of copyrighted/trademarked material from piracy, which has caused detriment to parts of the economy in larger, wealthier nations. To fix this, steps towards innovation of new technologies has been proposed. This is virtually another space-race towards knowledge- the G8 stressed the use of innovation to promote knowledge we would otherwise not strive for. As we advance technologically we must also keep in mind the preservation of our environment with the creation of less damaging technology and more conservative energy sources. Here, the G8 stepped in with its measures that attempt to establish a greener economy that is friendlier to the future we're economically striving to improve.
The agenda this year has set forth a gigantic task for these nations as well as the world. Hopefully this striving for improvement and unity will help in the over-all unity of some of the larger warring nations, and improve the outlook for other unsaid nations.
