I love to acquire all types of fabrics. When i am not working on my wall hangings, i am searching for that perfect fabric. It can be a full time job in itself. Some of the fabrics i will eventually get my hands on will include Marimekko and Florence Broadhurst.

I have just made another set, this time for a birthday present for a friend. She turns 60 this year. The colour blue has always been her favourite. Living on a property in the small town of Crows Nest in South East Queensland, she and her husband also have a vineyard. It is producing some of the finest wines in the region. I am sure you are getting a picture in your head of what it looks like where they live.

Shabby Chic comes to mind, you can imagine the setting, like the ones in the magazines! Well i found the perfect fabric in my local haberdashery store. Off white with blue farm and running creek pictures on it. I know that she will love my creation and i hope to have some of my work displayed when they start their open cellar door.

Shabby Chic will be the next theme that i will incorporate onto my website. I will be able to find many interesting fabrics. It is amazing how these trends always come back into fashion. Another great example of this is Retro, who would have thought that this would be all the rage in 2007.

Retro is my personal favourite, with its bright colours and distinctive shapes, flowing lines and waves. These are all traits of the original retro designs.
Who watches Ugly Betty? The office set design and decor are so cheerful, so retro. I would love my whole house to exude that look. The leather, the white and the orange, wow! Furthermore Kim T Designs Fabric Wall Hangings would be right at home on the walls around there. I need that persons number, i need to meet that person and tell them how much i love their work. They could do the interior decorating in my house any time.
