I had two of he most wonderful parents in the world. My dad was a preacher and my mother sit right on the front seat and helped him all the way.I was their baby and I led singing for dad for sixteen years. He loved to hear me sing. And with Gods help I still do that for my dad. He has been gone for eleven years now and this week-in is fathers day.He didn't have much to give me ,for he was sick, but he gave me love and taught me about the LORD. My mother always had our meals on the table and house always clean an she was always there to talk to me.She would get so excited over Christmas. They would go shopping for me and she would end up telling me what she had bought, even tho dad would be telling her not to.She always would but me something red.She loved red.Oh how I miss the smiles at thanksgiving and the salad she use to make and called it moth ball salad, because of the marshmallows in it.She always had a pet name for me and I usually did not like them, but most of the time she was teasing.Eleven years ago they got kill in a car wreck, but they left me with the knowledge of GOD .That is something parents today are not doing ,they are to busy to talk or teach their children about God ,and how wonderful he is to us everyday.People are drowning their children and killing them and leaving them in trash cans. What in the world is happening to parents. Most chidren at the age of ten doesn't know where they came from. Oh how blessed I have been to have a mother and father that loved me more than drugs or money.
