Our lives are different
We've traveled different roads
We've walked opposing paths
You climbed those hills
While I rolled down into the valleys
You met your first love
While I met mine
You married yours;
I married mine
You had five children;
I had my two
You've had your heart break
I've had mine, too
Never believing it would ever heal
Never leaving it for someone to steal
Under the neon light
When the time was right
Our paths crossed;
We'll never be the same
In a few short months
Our lives will be different;
We'll share the same name
We'll travel the same roads;
We'll walk the same paths;
We'll climb those hills;
We'll roll through the valleys;
Together
