I think homeschooling has more benefits then high school. Reason being, I have done both and I know what to expect.
Homeschooling is much more focused. Its easier to get work done without the interruptions and distractions. Say your parents are your teachers your not afraid to ask for help as many children would be in a classroom full of kids in fear they might laugh.

Another positive thing, there are no bad children around to encourage drug taking and misbehaving.
and to those who think the kids don't get enough of a social life, well there is always after school and weekends to see friends.
I encourage more parents to take their children out of school. I know people think high school is a " Normal" choice but that depends on the persons prospective on "Normal".

Some kids just arnt suited to a classroom. I think for educational benefits its better for kids to do homeschooling, there's a much more relaxed environment, there's just the one teacher for one student so they get the attention they need, again no bad influences and there is much more time to do other things, like hobbies, getting a job even.

Or if you prefer there is correspondence courses. I'm at the moment doing year 11 via correspondence and i cant think of an easier way or more relaxed, cheaper way to learn.

I know highschool gives you all that "Street knowledge" some teens need to know, to survive in this world but there is nothing high school can provide that homeschooling can't.
Some of the children that come out of high school, quite simply, do not know where they are going in life because they spent to much time in the wrong group to care, in which case they have to go through alot more in the long run to actually have a career.
I know that not all the children at high school are like that. I just think its the majority.

Homeschooling is defiantly a clever choice to consider
