As we go through history we have seen that history often repeats itself over and over and it seems as if the world is getting worse and will only get worse because we as many nations are not learning from past mistakes. Every time you step into a school, whether it is specialized, advanced or public, Violence is taking over and war is rising. In schools there are wars over who dresses better or who has more money, and who knows more people. Violence is taking schools over by force. In the past and present many schools have been shot up by students. Today many students feel the need to bring in weapons, to harm and threaten one another because they have been abused in so many ways. This can mean verbally, emotionally, and mentally. An example of this type of violence is the Columbine high school shooting that took place in little town, Colorado in 1999. This shooting involved Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold . Both of these young men were able to shoot and hold up a whole high school, murdering many other lives as well as themselves. Another shooting took place at Virginia Tech University. This was recently and left 33 innocent lives gone, including the shooter himself.

Violence is a word filled with a strong emotion and level of hate. This is also a reason why I think war and violence will increase in this world today because everyone is walking around with this strong level of hate, especially our young people, They are suppose to be the children of the future, Our young people are having sex before knowing how to spell and understand this three lettered word .Causing them to be broken internally. Our young people are killing each other over foolish and ignorant reasons, As African Americans we are suppose to be multiplying with love and respect making the world a more peaceful place. But instead we are divided among each other with ignorance and hatred and soon there will be no remainder.
Another reason why I feel that violence will continue to grow is because mankind's wisdom has been corrupted even far beyond than it already was before. The love of money and fame has taken over mankind's mentality causing the door of corruption to be opened. This involves greed and power, because of this materialistic behavior governments are falling apart, causing riots among nations.Causing brothers to go against brother and sisters against sister as well as children against mother. This love of money and power has caused wars in so many different
