Look at you
and look at me -
married ladies having tea.
Discussing kids, discussing spouses,
mortgages, three-bedroom houses...
Remember back then,
those rocky roads and roller coaster rides.
Remember my old red Rambler,
those crazy, spinning, dreaming
days and nights.
Remember how we'd wonder
what the future held in store.
We had a lot of ups and downs
and always went right back for more.
Together we grew,
and then we grew in different ways.
Yesterday's dreams are real now,
we've made it.
These are good days.
I have no longing for the past,
our dreams are in our arms at last.
Its funny, though, to think of it.
I don't feel older - not a bit.
Look at you
and look at me -
married ladies having tea.
