changed and England would be on Axis' side.
However, my World History professor says it's a half-truth. He said should that be the case, Edward would have to deal with the Prime Minister of England. But this is pretty much up for debate.
George was crowned King of Great Britain. The rest that happened is obvious. Great Britain joined the allies'. In just shows that the Royal Family was very different in the past.
Today, you hardly see the Royal Family taking an active role in world politics as King George VI did in the past. Before Princess Diana's divorce from Prince Charles, Diana took a very active role. She did plenty of work with the Red Cross. Diana took up all sorts of roles in trying to better the world. I didn't see the rest of the Royal Family step up and assume their duty of being there for the people.
Even after Diana's divorce, she continued to be an active player in the world until her death. Still, the Royal Family has done little to nothing in today's world. The Royal Family aren't being "royal." Look at the other currently existant royal families of the world, most of them are taking an active role in the world.
In many senses, today's British Royal Family has little relevance. There's so many scandals going on that it's not even funny. If my stepgrandfather was still alive and saw the state of today's current British Royal Family, he'd definitley have an aneurysm. When I tune into the news, I hardly see any news of them unless it's a scandal, controversial marriage, or a trip to the United States.
If you believe in the idea of a fairytale royal family, look elsewhere...
