I have practiced the wiccan religion my whole life. We never really called it wiccan, but just knew and accepted it was our religion. Spells, I was taught, are only as strong as the individual who believes. Using other peoples spells aren't as strong as ones that you create yourself. This is also true with rituals. Each ritual is created and used by one individual. Now, I have had individuals help with concentration to enhance the spell, but there is not one spell out there that I can take and use for my own use. Herbs are important and essential when making a spell. You must first learn about the herb such as the powers of each and their signiture to know when and how to use them. Selfish desires with the use of spells will not work, ie..winning money, getting a car. They should only be used to enhance life not control life. If you do use spells selfishly there are consequences that you must accept in order to get what you want (kinda like in real life eh?). My religion is essential to my life and my beliefs are strong. Once you do have total faith, I found, there is nothing that you can't do
