If you think Baking Soda is solely for baking, then, you are wrong.

Baking Sodo is also called sodium bicarbonate. It is a naturally occurring substance.

Baking Soda is alkaline and it naturally neutralise acids and give good pH levels.You may check out the wonders of baking soda below:

Baking Soda helps keep breath fresh for hours by neutralizing acid inside the mouth.

Use soda as an underarm deodorant

Use Soda as an antiseptic on wounded or swollen area. ( This is my personal experience. My father is a diabetics who proned to have swollen leg due to incongestion of blood vein around his legs. By soaking both legs into a pile of water which mixed with 2 table spoon of baking soda plus 1 table of sea salt twice per day. His swollen legs will gradually subside.) This is better homeopathy than taking inflammation medicine.

Bug bites: use a poultice of baking soda and vinegar.

Bee sting: use a poultice of baking soda and water.

Take 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water to relieve acid indigestion or heartburn. (This is great homeopathy for acid indigestion. Personal experience)

Sprinkle soda in tennis shoes, socks, boots and slippers to eliminate odor.

Add 1/2 cups or more of baking soda to your bath water to soften your skin.

When scalding a chicken, add 1 tsp. of soda to the boiling water. The feathers will come off easier and flesh will be clean and white.
