TIME TRAVEL

IMPOSSIBLE! Just as length, depth and width are necessary characteristics of everything so is the term TIME which makes it possible to describe the rate of change of an object. To completely comprehend this, one first has to be aware that all objects change. If nothing ever changed, there would be no need of the concept TIME. Even objects which are at rest have change going on in their constituent atoms. Changes can take place slowly or quickly, thus a need to describe the rate of change thus the requirement for the concept, TIME... As you contemplate these matters you become aware that to be able to use words like fast, slow, quickly etc require one to be aware of a rudimentary understanding of time.

The capability to time travel would require the ability to undo all changes currently taking place in a human for travel back into history and the ability to rapidly increase the normal rate of change to move into the future. Just from the shear number of changes that are taking place in a human body even at rest suggests the impossibility of how one might go about reversing them or even more difficult increasing their rate of change to move into the future. Normal brain function requires neuron movement in the brain, the myriad of cells in the body each require food and oxygen for their metabolism. all of which involve rates of change. The functions of the various organs in the human body producing blood cells, enzymes, proteins of many descriptions and on and on all undergoing change must be reversed for travel back into history or must be moved ahead for travel into the future. It is incomprehensible that a single mechanism could accomplish this on so many different and complex changes which routinely take place in the body. Of course when Bush's Baked Bean recipe becomes available because pigs learned to fly, then all bets are off.
