No, apple's iPhone will not revolutionize mobile computing because the product will have too many glitches. People will eventually get sick of all of the apple technology coming out without enough testing and debugging. Every product that apple has launched has suffered from their poor quality standards.

What happens if the iPhone is dropped on its touchscreen? It can't be used. All of your information is gone. We have all become too reliant on technology as it is and now apple wants us to put even more faith in a product that "multitasks". It used to be that you would have to break your phone to lose your contact list, your iPod to lose your music, your PDA to lose your email, your camera to lose your photos, etc. Now we can have the pleasure of all of our information going down in one device if you happen to break it.

If the product can actually mount all of these hurdles, it just means it will be the first one on the market. It's not that there hasn't been the technology to combine all of these devices into one previously - manufacturers may not believe there is a market for it. I guess only time will tell!
