Success is the heartbeat, the sole and passion, which all clubs thrive on. Every major club in the Premier league's main goal is the premiership title and/or European glory and if this is beyond the reaches of the smaller clubs, what is their aim? To build on every bit of success they achieve throughout a long grafted season. To compete to the fullest in every cup game they play, so that they too can achieve success!

It may be argued that the great teams must play with style to achieve success, and yes this is credible, but nothing surpasses that of pride and determination from every player both on the pitch and the bench. Success is like a burning flame, which glows fiercely in the hearts of all players and managers.

Take one club, Liverpool, the single most successful team in England. A great history, honoured with league titles, cup match success and European domination and glory. Why are they envied by other clubs? Success.

Unfortunately though, the beautiful game has been tainted by players who are concerned more about their image on and off the pitch than obtaining titles and honours for their club, and the primary push on this is money orientated. It's obvious and was made more obvious upon the controversial Chelsea takeover by billionaire oil tycoon, Roman Abramovich. Buy, buy, buy, spend, spend, spend. Suddenly figures on a contract became more important than cups in a cabinet. It's a sad truth that money has ruined our beautiful game and a worrying fact that some players prefer style, swagger and cash to success.

What's the biggest aim in soccer? Success - OBVIOUSLY! Behind every good club is a history fuelled by success. Behind every good club to come, is a successful history.
