Fired: How to handle the subject in a interview

Lies have a tendency to come up and bite you on the bum, just when you think you're safe. So go with honesty. Be prepared to tell any future employer, the why's for you being fired. Most will appreciate you telling them the truth. Don't hide it, they eventually may find out, just as you are climbing the corporate ladder of success.

Honesty goes a long way. One young chap I knew, was consistently being fired when he was a teenager. It wasn't that he was lazy, it was that he was a little too slow.

His new employer asked was he autistic. The answer was that he just didn't know, as he tried so hard. The employer's wife was specialized in working with autistic children. Thus he was accessed, and yes he was autistic. But he was still employed. He was a hard working lad, who simply was misunderstood. This young lad now has shares in the company.

Meet your potential employer eye to eye. If you truly have realized where you had gone wrong before, and really do wish to have permanent employment. Let them know this. Maturity comes at all different ages. It simply may have been that you needed to continue growing up. Gaining more maturity. You certainly have learned that with no job, you have no money. NO money leads to no processions, and no fun. No car etc.
Yet you've learned that now, yes?

Often at times we have personality clashes, and that's a general reason many have problems in the work force. We often just can't work with someone in particular.
Not only that, but many people were fired prior to the fair dismissal laws.
You may have been dismissed unfairly. Explain the circumstances.

Often also, there have been situations beyond your control. Sexual harassment, or bullying. If this is the case, there is no need for you to feel guilty. No-one deserves that.
Just be honest, and if you don't get the job don't give up.
Honesty, it truly is the best policy.
