Little hands and feet tied down to a table. A doctor near by grabs a knife and as the child lays there and screams he proceeds to cut, taking off the child's foreskin. At first glance it kind of sounds like a horror story doesn't it, for the child it probably is bit thats not the issue is it. I have three boys my self and before I really decided on whether to circumcise them or not I did a lot of research. I found that circumcision is no longer necessary. Circumcision was considered a clean thing that it was better for the child because they were less likely to get bladder infections and yeast infections, but in research I found out that that is very untrue. In a study it was actually found that "The circumcised penis requires more care than the intact penis during the first three years of life, according to a report in the British Journal of Urology." A poll of circumcised men actually found a large number of effects on men physical and mental well being, including sexual, and psychological problems. It was also found that the foreskin that is actually cut off contains about one half of the erogenous tissues on the penis. The foreskin actually contains several kinds of nerves that are required for optimal sexual sensitivity.

In my view its much better to NOT have your child circumcised then to risk their health. Their health means our future.
