Years ago when my three daughters were in elementary school I purchased a marble topped coffee table. It was great! My girls did lots of activities at that table and everything just wiped right off, pencil, crayon, finger paints and there little finger/hand prints from whatever snack they had and they had a lot of snacks on that table. To this day I tell people about that table top. My husband was in the military and our next move after having the table for two years made us laugh. When the movers lifted the table what we saw underneath just put us in stitches with laughter. It seemed that while our daughters were doing activities on top of the table they were also taking time to draw and write underneath. It was pretty comical when we saw it but more so when they saw us looking and reading what was on the underside. It went with us for several years. I don't remember ever having a problem with anything that was set on top of it. Friends and neighbors would always ask for a coaster before setting a drink on it, we would just tell them nothing would hurt it. When my grandchildren started to get older I often talked about that table and wished I had it or one like it.
